CALL FOR PAPERS
Guidelines for Paper Presentation
Only unpublished (individual or group) papers will be accepted, in Spanish or English. Length: 10 to 15 pages (including citations and footnotes). The content of the paper should expand on information presented in the abstract (approved by the Evaluation Committee).

On the first page please provide the following information:
- Title
- Author(s)
- Center or Institution
- Email address
- Thematic Axis (To be abbreviated as follows:
- Globalization;
- Science;
- Economic Crisis;
- Knowledge Society;
- Interculturality)
- A brief abstract (200 to 300 words) in English and Spanish
- Key words (minimum 3, maximum 6)
Style Rules and Standards
- Formatted in Word, font Times New Roman 12, double spaced, left margin 3 cm., top, right and bottom 2 cm, paper size A4.
- The document name must include last name and first name of author followed by the Subject of the Conference for which the proposal was sent, for example smithjoeGlobalization.doc. For group papers choose one author’s name.
- Notes and explanations should appear as footnotes at the bottom of the page (maximum length 8 lines.)
- Citations should be uniform, preferably following Harvard System of Referencing, also known as APA
- A detailed and accurate bibliography is to be included at the end of the paper in alphabetical order. This section is excluded from the 10-page minimum.
- Acronym or abbreviation usage: include the complete name only the first time it appears in the text.
