CALL FOR PAPERS
We are pleased to invite:
- Researchers, Academics and graduate students
- Civil servants, professionals and experts from state offices, NGOs, cooperation agencies and donors
- Public policy makers and agents (Women’s organizations, Ministries, etc.)

To participate on the Working Sessions, participants are required to:
- Send:
- An abstract of the unpublished paper (500-600 words)

- Selected authors must send their complete paper (10-15 pages) before October 25th 2010. See Guidelines for paper submissions.
Deadline: August 16th 2010
All abstracts will be evaluated by a Committee of international specialists. Results will be sent before September 20th (via email)

Selection of Papers
It will be carried out by the Paper Review Committe renowned international experts. The Paper Review Committee will consider the following criteria for the selection of paper proposals:
- a) Suitability to thematic axes,
- b) originality,
- c) theoretical and methodological contribution.
- d) Its presentation –format- and content-wise,
- e) multidisciplinary target audience,
- f) potential for publication.
Oral Presentation
Selected papers shall be presented by their author(s) in the Working Sessions. which are set up according to the thematic axes of the conference. Each working session will hold four presenters, a moderator and a respondent or commentator. Each presentation will be 15 minutes long maximum and may use visual aids in Powerpoint format (8 slides maximum).
Publications
A compilation with a summary of all selected papers will be handed out to all the attendants. Outstanding papers will be subsequently compiled in electronic and hard copy publications.
Upon being accepted as speaker/presenter, each author will be asked to sign away his or her copyright rights to the Gender, Society and Policy Area (FLACSO-Argentina Chapter). By doing so, authors accept that their paper/s be included in print and/or electronic publications.
Certificates
Attendants and speakers will be awarded certificates by the Gender, Society and Policy Area at FLACSO- Argentina Chapter.
